The
BriteSmile Professional Teeth Whitening treatment
consists of a gentle hydrogen-peroxide whitening gel

Opalescence Home Whitening System
The patented Opalescence Tooth Whitening System
will remove discolorations with a gentle sustained
release action that will oxidize (bleach) stains
within your teeth. Your tooth structure remains unchanged.
Research and experience show that the whitening effect
from the Opalescence treatment usually lasts for
years.
Dr. Sostowski will examine your teeth and gums to
assure good oral health. Old fillings may need to
be replaced and/or decayed areas treated and filled.
An impression of your teeth will be taken to guarantee
proper fit of the custom fabricated bleaching trays.
The thin, soft plastic trays provide sufficient comfort
while bleaching. Once the tray is made the doctor
will explain how to use Opalescence bleaching gel.
Most patients use Opalescence while they sleep.
The doctor will decide how many nights your treatment
should take for maximum results. Most patients need
to bleach for only three to eight nights.
Deep Bleaching
The
Deep Bleaching technique appears to get teeth significantly
whiter than ever before possible. Patients
who previously were unable to bleach as white as
they would have liked (because of “bleaching
resistant teeth”) can now bleach significantly
whiter.
The
first session of Deep Bleaching will start with
a bleaching in our office, which will “condition” the
teeth to absorb oxygen more readily from the bleaching
gel in your At-Home bleaching trays. Do not expect
a tremendous color change from this “conditioning” first
visit. Immediately following the “conditioning
visit”, At-Home trays will be worn for 14 consecutive
nights. After the 14th night of At- Home Deep Bleaching,
the final Deep Bleaching will be performed in our
office, and will provide significant additional whitening
over what will have already been accomplished.
